Position:

Director of Human Resources

Location: New York City, in-Person at least 3 days per week.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources team serves as an integral strategic partner across the organization in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion, organizational strategy, talent development, talent management, talent acquisition and onboarding, culture development, engagement and experience, employee relations and retention, compensation, rewards and recognition and employee benefits.

Our strategy aligns with company goals and the services we provide thoughtfully promote an inclusive culture of innovation, integrity, and equity. The Human Resources Director will lead and direct all aspects of the Human Resources department.

This position reports directly to the CEO. The position has two direct reports, one in the PA facility and one remote. The company has employees in the NYC office, the PA facility as well as a handful of remote employees.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to understand skills and competencies required for team members
  • Partner with the leadership team to understand future talent needs and succession planning
  • Provide support and guidance to client groups when complex employee matters arise
  • Analyze trends and develop programs to attract and retain top talent
  • Actively manage employee benefits programs
  • Payroll management
  • Responsible for all aspects of employee relations, investigations, and accountability
  • Steward the development and evolution of company culture
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Recommend best practices, review, and administer policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Take a true hands-on approach and successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of engagement
  • Understand business goals and recommend thoughtful new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company
  • Deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume workload supporting HR functions and operations leadership
  • Drive and direct all engagement and experience efforts for senior leaders, front line managers, and employees
  • Continuously innovate HR solutions, process improvements and efficiencies
  • Lead projects at a corporate level, influence and obtain buy-in from stakeholders, and then drive execution and achievement of the right results using effective project management skills
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all HRIS data, generate reports, dashboards, and HR specific analytics
  • Lead and manage all cyclical HR events including but not limited to: Annual Open Enrollment, Performance Review and Compensation Cycles
  • Perform other duties as required

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 + years of progressive Human Resource management experience is required
  • Experience using Mac and PC applications (MS Office and G Guite) and HR Systems (Ceridian Dayforce Preferred)

Employment Category:

  • Full Time, Exempt

Compensation Range:

  • 130k - 150k
