Job Summary: As the Video editor, you will work closely with our content creation team to develop engaging and visually appealing videos that tell compelling stories and capture the attention of our target audience. You will also be responsible for editing both short-form and long-form video content, tailored for various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and edit high-quality video content for social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and ideas for video content.
• Storyboard and plan the flow of video content to ensure a cohesive and engaging story.
• Select and edit music, sound effects, and visuals to enhance the overall quality of the videos.
• Optimize videos for social media platforms, considering factors such as aspect ratio, video length, and file size.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in video editing and social media content creation.
• Ensure all videos are consistent with the brand’s style, tone, and messaging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of video content.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of video content on social media platforms and make adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in film studies, broadcasting, communications, or a related field preferred
• Experience: 2 - 4 years proven experience as a video editor, preferably in the beauty, luxury, skincare or products industry.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand
• Passion for skincare, beauty, and wellness.

Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software’s
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements
• Excellent storytelling skills and creative thinking
• Excellent audio editing skills, including mixing and sound design
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
