ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented eCommerce Executive to join our growing digital team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our Shopify stores -from product uploads and content updates to store hygiene checks and cross-team coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to build real, hands-on expertise in the fast-moving world of eCommerce.
You will work closely with our eCommerce and marketing teams to ensure our online stores are always accurate, on-brand, and performing at their best. Over time, you will develop a strong understanding of online merchandising, customer journeys, and digital operations across multiple live stores.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Shopify Website Update
- Upload new products to Shopify, including images, pricing, descriptions, and variants, ensuring all information is complete and accurate
- Create and maintain blogs, collection pages, and landing pages in line with campaign calendars
- Update promotional banners, discount codes, and offer details across all active stores
- Keep product pages current by making timely edits to reflect inventory changes, pricing updates, or copy revisions.
2. Store Hygiene & Maintenance
- Conduct regular audits of the website to identify and resolve broken pages, incorrect links, or display errors
- Verify that site navigation, collections, and filters function correctly across desktop and mobile
- Maintain consistent standards of accuracy and cleanliness across multiple Shopify storefronts
- Assist with basic theme updates and front-end adjustments as directed by the team or external developers
3. Day-to-Day Operations Support
- Troubleshoot basic Shopify issues and escalate bugs or technical errors to the internal team or external developers with clear documentation
- Help manage backend tasks including app updates, product organization, and metadata management
- Respond to website-related requests from internal stakeholders, including marketing, supply chain, and customer experience teams
- Maintain accurate records of updates and changes made to each store for internal reporting
4. Learning & Continuous Improvement
- Develop a working knowledge of eCommerce customer journeys and how website experience influences conversion
- Learn and apply best practices in online merchandising, product presentation, and UX principles
- Actively participate in store audits and contribute ideas for website improvement initiatives
- Stay informed about Shopify platform updates, app releases, and D2C eCommerce trends

REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
- Familiarity with Shopify admin (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Basic understanding of online shopping journeys and eCommerce fundamentals
- Comfortable with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting
- Ability to follow SOPs and internal processes consistently
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
NICE TO HAVE
- Prior internship or work experience in eCommerce, retail tech, or digital marketing
- Hands-on exposure to Shopify admin, including product management and theme customisation
- Interest in UX, conversion optimisation, or D2C brand building
- Familiarity with eCommerce KPIs such as conversion rate, AOV, or bounce rate
