THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the Operations Manager for Hotels will be responsible for transitioning new hotels into our portfolio and working directly with onsite teams to improve or enhance financial and operational performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Onboard New Hotels into the Life House Portfolio
      • Interface directly with onsite teams to transition new properties into our portfolio
      • Introduce and implement the Life House systems and processes during transition periods
      • Provide training and coaching to onsite team members ensuring employees are set up for success post-transition
      • Liaise with Life House Asset Management, Finance and Revenue teams to ensure seamless execution of transition and address any potential risks where relevant
  • Ongoing Training & Development of Existing Life House Portfolio
      • Work with onsite teams to train and/or upskill our employee population
      • Assist with roll out of new platforms, processes and trainings
  • Spearhead Corrective Action Plans to Enhance Financial & Operational Performance
      • Address escalations by digging in to understand the root of the problem and then develop a plan of action
      • Coach onsite teams through execution while ensuring the plan of action leads to desired outcomes
  • Continuously Develop Expertise in Operational Systems and Processes
    • Build a deep understanding of operational systems and processes, including Gusto, When I Work, MEWS, Lightspeed and Life House proprietary systems
    • Advance Life House’s operating system by highlighting inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement

WHO YOU ARE

  • 4-6 years of business experience; prior experience in operations and/or team management/training is preferred
  • Exceptional time management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Excited by leveraging new tech solutions to streamline operations
  • Highly articulate, with the ability to adapt and cater to different learning styles
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to lead change in a fast-paced environment
  • This is a remote position and travel will be required 75% of the time. Travel assignments may include serving as interim General Manager at assets in our portfolio.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive pay at $75,000-$85,000 (commensurate with experience)
