About the Role:
As Little Spoon’s Manager, Business Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating strategic opportunities to support Little Spoon’s growth, with a focus on new customer acquisition. Utilizing your analytical expertise and business acumen, you will synthesize customer trends into actionable insights that will guide decision-making, lead opportunity sizing exercises for strategic initiatives and support cross-functional teams in building out a roadmap to drive improvements. The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and a bias for action to quickly drive results for the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify, scope, and size opportunities to evaluate strategic initiatives that meaningfully drive company goals
- Drive thought leadership related to our customers and opportunities for growth by leveraging data and insights from both internal resources and external research
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the business to build out a project roadmap that supports growth through new customer acquisition
- Act as the primary Business Strategy contact for all new customer acquisition efforts, managing all related day-to-day activities
- Utilize data to understand patterns of customer behavior, identify business trends, and communicate findings in a clear, digestible manner
- Prepare materials and maintain reporting for monthly business reviews, with an ability to clearly communicate complex insights in a concise manner
- Assist company leadership in strategic planning on an annual basis and throughout the year, helping to ensure the company is hitting its goals
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or in a strategic role at a high-growth startup
- Expert at creating financial models and analyses in Excel and Google Sheets that exhibit a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to effectively synthesize complex findings into action-oriented insights
- Proven ability to build trust, engagement and alignment across cross-functional business partners
- Self-starter that thrives in a fast-moving environment
- You value diversity of thoughts, perspectives, and expression and believe that a diverse team makes better decisions, drives innovation, and delivers better business results
How You’ll Stand Out:
- Experience with subscription startups – namely in food
- Experience on a team focused on growth through new customer acquisition
- SQL knowledge a plus
- Master’s Degree in Business
