This role is responsible for generating qualified commercial opportunities for Mappa through strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships. The focus is not direct sales execution, but building, activating, and scaling partner channels that consistently convert into client opportunities.
This person will work closely with partners such as investors, accelerators, venture studios, banks, ecosystem builders, and strategic operators to make Mappa a default, trusted solution within their networks. Success is measured by how effectively partners convert into real, qualified pipeline.
This is a highly external, relationship-driven role. Travel across the US and Latin America is a core part of the job.
Key responsibilities
- Build and own Mappa’s partner-driven commercial pipeline
- Activate existing partners (investors, accelerators, ecosystem orgs) through structured campaigns, co-events, referrals, and joint initiatives
- Proactively hunt and onboard new strategic partners aligned with Mappa’s ICP and long-term vision
- Design and execute targeted partner campaigns (events, dinners, demo days, roadshows, curated intros, content collaborations)
- Represent Mappa in ecosystem events, conferences, and partner meetings across the US and LATAM
- Build deep, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and maintain consistent, high-quality follow-ups over time
- Act as the bridge between partners and the internal sales team, ensuring opportunities are well-contextualized and actionable
- Track, manage, and report partner performance, conversion rates, and pipeline impact
- Continuously strengthen Mappa’s brand awareness and positioning within the ecosystem

- Strong long-term relationships with ecosystem leaders who see Mappa as a trusted partner
- High visibility of Mappa within relevant startup, enterprise, and innovation ecosystems
Profile we’re looking for
- Extremely relationship-driven and energized by being around people
- Comfortable living on a plane and traveling frequently across the US and Latin America
- Proactive, curious, and hunter-minded when it comes to building new partnerships
- Exceptionally strong at follow-ups, relationship maintenance, and long-term trust building
- Commercially sharp and able to translate relationships into concrete opportunities
- Confident representing Mappa with senior stakeholders, founders, investors, and operators
- Highly organized, disciplined, and accountable for outcomes
- Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building from zero
- Fluent in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese
Nice to have
- Previous experience in partnerships, business development, ecosystem building, or strategic sales
- Strong existing network in startups, VCs, accelerators, or enterprise ecosystems in the US or LATAM
- Experience running events, community initiatives, or partner programs
- Background in B2B SaaS, Partnerships or Tech
