Role overview

This role is 100% focused on creating commercial opportunities for Mappa’s hiring platform. The Sales Development Lead is responsible for generating pipeline from zero through relentless outbound execution.

This is a pure hunter role. Cold outreach, cold calling, LinkedIn prospecting, in-person activation, events, door knocking, follow-ups that don’t stop — whatever works to get conversations started and opportunities moving.

Key responsibilities

• Generate qualified sales opportunities for Mappa’s hiring platform targeting SMBs, startups and small enterprises.

• Own outbound execution across channels: LinkedIn, email, cold calls, WhatsApp, events, in-person visits, and creative outbound tactics

• Build and manage a high-volume outbound pipeline from scratch

• Identify and prioritize high-potential prospects based on ICP and buying signals

• Execute consistent, structured follow-up until a clear yes or no exists

• Be physically present where prospects are: coworking spaces, startup events, meetups, demo days, offices

• Qualify prospects quickly and sharply before handing off to closing roles

• Track outreach activity, conversion rates, and pipeline movement

• Continuously test new outbound strategies and double down on what converts

• Consistent flow of qualified opportunities entering the pipeline

• High activity levels across multiple outbound channels

• Short feedback loops between outreach, learning, and optimization

• Strong follow-up discipline that converts interest into meetings

• Pipeline that exists because of your execution, not inbound luck

• Comfortable cold calling, cold messaging, and showing up unannounced

• Clear communicator with strong commercial instinct

• Thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B sales, SDR, or outbound roles

• Exposure to hiring platforms, SaaS, or HR tech

• Startup or SMB sales experience

• Existing network in startup ecosystems

Must speak both english and Spanish fluently.
