Content Strategist

The role:

You'll own Mappa's content strategy across every customer touchpoint. You're part strategist, part creator, part optimizer. SEO-driven but not SEO-exclusive. You work closely with our Brand Voice Lead to shape how we show up everywhere: blogs, sales decks, social posts, website copy, email flows, product messaging.

What you'll do:

Strategic & editorial

  • Build and execute content strategy across SEO, social, email, and commercial assets
  • Partner with our Brand Voice Lead to translate Mappa's voice into every format: blogs, landing pages, ad copy, pitch decks, CRM sequences
  • Audit and refine website copy, product messaging, and customer-facing materials
  • Own content calendar and cross-functional content planning with Marketing, Product, and Ops

SEO & organic growth

  • Design SEO-first content (blogs, case studies, landing pages) that ranks and converts
  • Optimize for classic SEO and emerging search: GEO/AEO/AIO (generative engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)
  • Implement structured data, llms.txt, conversational/long-tail keyword targeting
  • Build topical authority through E-E-A-T principles
  • Track impact: organic traffic, inbound leads, search coverage

Creation & execution

  • Write, edit, and collaborate on content across formats, from LinkedIn posts to sales one-pagers
  • Work in our stack: CMS, CRM, AI tools, analytics platforms
  • Test, iterate, improve based on performance data

Tools you should know (hands-on):

  • SEO & Analytics: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or SEMrush, Screaming Frog
  • Content & AI: SurferSEO, Clearscope, ChatGPT (for research/co-creation), prompt engineering
  • Publishing & Collaboration: WordPress or Webflow, Notion, HubSpot (or similar CRM)
  • Reporting: Looker Studio or Power BI, keyword clustering, search intent mapping

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in content strategy and SEO, but not just SEO
  • Strong writer and editor in English (tech storytelling, commercial copy, social content)
  • Data-informed, growth-minded, always learning
  • Curious about AI's role in content and search
  • Hands-on executor, not afraid to roll up your sleeves

Bonus points:

  • Experience writing for B2B SaaS or HR tech
  • Social media content strategy
  • CRM/email marketing experience
  • Familiarity with LLM optimization and generative search
