We are looking for a professional with experience in technology, digital payment methods and vendor management to lead the operation of the Rewards ecosystem (gift cards, digital incentives, prepaid cards, corporate benefits).
This role will be responsible for relationships with international vendors, technical integrations with our platforms, operational control, validation of catalogs by country, functionality testing and continuous auditing of incentives system.
Its main mission is to ensure that the Rewards offered to our clients are available, correctly integrated, tested and aligned with each project’s objectives, guaranteeing operational efficiency, technical robustness and regulatory compliance.
Main Responsibilities
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate and manage partnerships with incentive platforms (BHN, Tango, Tremendous, GiftPoint, or others).
- Negotiate rates, discounts, rebates, terms, limits and international coverage.
- Supervise compliance with SLAs, commercial policies and technical support from each vendor.
- Maintain an up-to-date global inventory of vendors, terms and operational cost by country.
Rewards Catalog and Operational Standards
- Audit and keep the incentive catalog updated by country, currency, type and restrictions.
- Evaluate real availability in each market before presenting it to clients.
- Document special conditions, expirations, issuance methods, limitations and redemption times.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to adapt the catalog according to specific needs.
Technological Integrations
- Knowledge integration with rewards providers’ APIs.
A plus - desirable
- Read and understand technical documentation, JSON, endpoints, sandbox/test environments.
- Design functional tests for issuance, activation, redemption, order tracking and error handling.
- Coordinate validations with the technical lead and internal development team.
- Identify technical risks and ensure security measures in APIs, tokens and data handling.
Audit, Control and Operational Quality
- Monitor issuance errors, catalog failures, rejections, failed transactions or expirations.
- Maintain traceability and an incident and escalation log.
- Ensure operational controls, balance reconciliations, response times and resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation, internal guides and operational policies.
Rewards Testing and Certification
- Execute real purchase, redemption and wallet (Apple/Google) tests when applicable.
- Mark incentives as “tested” or “not compatible” by country.
- Create validation checklists and internal matrices by provider and market.
Contractual Management and Compliance
- Support contract processes, NDAs and corporate documentation.
- Validate privacy, data security and intellectual property criteria.
- Supervise alignment with GDPR and Mastercard policies when applicable.
- Assess tax impact and legal restrictions by region.
Internal Analysis and Consultancy
- Support project, sales or strategic development teams.
- Prepare cost, margin, availability and competitiveness comparisons by market.
- Design “ideal” catalog proposals according to the project.
- Suggest alternatives when a reward is unavailable or inefficient.
Job Requirements
Education
- Systems Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a technological focus, or related areas.
- Certification or experience in payment methods, fintech or incentive programs is a plus.
Experience
- 4+ years in roles related to:
- Technological integrations
- Digital payment methods
- Loyalty, rewards, procurement or fintech
- Vendor management
- Operational control and audits
- Experience evaluating technology offers and negotiating commercial agreements.
Basic Technical Knowledge - desirable - a plus
- REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, OAuth.
- General understanding of logs, endpoints, callbacks and error analysis.
- Intermediate SQL for querying and diagnosis.
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and integration security.
- Familiarity with authentication systems, tokenization and handling of personal data.
