Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of career experience in web development. The primary responsibilities include developing WordPress and Shopify websites, optimizing site performance for speed, loading times, and on-site SEO.

The candidate must possess proficiency in English, along with a high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, self-management capabilities, and a reputation for reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain WordPress websites hosted on Liquid Web and WordPress.org, utilizing Elementor for design and customization.
2. Develop Shopify websites, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
3. Optimize website performance for speed and loading times to achieve under 2 seconds load time.
4. Set up integrations between Shopify and WordPress platforms to streamline operations and enhance user experience.
5. Create subdomain landing pages within WordPress for targeted marketing campaigns.
6. Utilize programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, Liquid, JavaScript, and JSON to develop custom solutions and enhance website functionality.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and content creators to deliver high-quality projects within designated timelines.
8. Stay updated with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and deliver innovative solutions.
9. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for website-related issues as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in web development and digital marketing.
2. Proficiency in WordPress development, including experience with Liquid Web hosting and WordPress.org.
3. Strong expertise in Shopify development and customization.
4. Experience in optimizing website performance for speed and loading times, achieving load times of under 2 seconds.
5. Proven track record of successful website integrations and subdomain landing page creation.
6. Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both written and verbal.
7. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
