Job Description

  • Full-Time
  • Hibryd
  • 4750 to 6500 USD

The Role

As a Product Engineer at Company, you will operate at the intersection of product management and full-stack engineering. This is not a traditional PM role — we are looking for someone who brings both product judgment and the technical capability to execute.

The product landscape is rapidly shifting: AI tools are compressing build cycles, cursor-based development is enabling non-traditional engineers to ship faster, and the best outcomes come from people who can think through a problem and implement the solution. We want someone who embodies this shift.

You will support product and operations leadership, own key product workflows end-to-end, and contribute directly to building AI-powered features across client projects. Strong performance in this role opens clear growth paths toward Product Lead or Engineering Lead roles.

What You'll Do

Product

  • Lead product definition, prioritization, and delivery based on business objectives, metrics, and user feedback.
  • Translate product strategy into clear execution plans, milestones, and tickets.
  • Partner closely with design and engineering to ensure alignment, scope clarity, and timely delivery.
  • Track progress, test the product, surface risks, and proactively resolve blockers.
  • Support user research, validation, and testing — synthesize insights into actionable improvements.

Engineering

  • Contribute to full-stack feature development on client projects, working primarily in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript.
  • Work with AI/LLM integrations — prompt design, context management, evaluation frameworks, and product-facing AI features.
  • Help ship product improvements independently using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, etc.).
  • Collaborate with engineers on architecture decisions and technical tradeoffs from a product perspective.

Operations

  • Contribute to operational initiatives across project management, documentation, tooling, and internal workflows.
  • Support cross-functional coordination between product, operations, and leadership.
  • Help the organization mature how it runs, not just how it builds.

Required to Apply

  • Strong English fluency, written and spoken. You will work directly with U.S.-based clients.
  • 3+ years of experience across product management, engineering, or closely related roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to ship — products, features, or projects you have taken from definition to delivery.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Clear, structured communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High ownership, independence, and reliability.

Strongly Desired

  • Hands-on experience building or shipping software — even if self-taught or through AI-assisted tools.
  • Familiarity with Rails or willingness to learn quickly; exposure to full-stack development.
  • Experience working with AI/LLM-powered products or workflows (prompt engineering, evals, integrations).
  • Background or exposure to UX/UI design, data analysis, or engineering.
  • Experience in a consulting or product studio environment.
  • Experience with product and delivery tools such as ClickUp, Jira, or similar.
  • Based in Mexico City or Monterrey (preferred).

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
  • Competitive, profit-based bonus calculated transparently based on company performance.
  • Phantom equity participation on GTM products — share in the upside of what we build.
  • 20 vacation days per year.
  • Flexible work hours and a hybrid work model.
  • Direct exposure to U.S.-based clients and real-world product challenges.
  • Mentorship from senior product and operations leaders.
  • Budget for courses, books, and professional development.
  • High-quality tools and hardware to do your best work.
  • Periodic in-person team gatherings and off-sites.
  • Extended parental/child leave, beyond statutory requirements.
  • A people-first culture that prioritizes trust, sustainability, and long-term growth.
