General Description

We are looking for a Junior–Mid professional with hands-on experience in digital incentive platforms, payment/gift card ecosystems, and vendor/API integrations to own and run the operation of our incentives product for our client.

This role owns the incentives/rewards operational line end-to-end and supports relationships with international incentive vendors, technical integrations with our platforms, operational control, catalog validation by country, functionality testing, and continuous auditing of the incentives system.

The role is oriented approximately 70% to vendor and operations management and 30% to functional diagnosis and QA. It is not a software-development role: the person does not program or implement integrations — knowledge of APIs, JSON and integrations is required to understand flows, run functional validations, and coordinate with vendors and the internal technical team. This is an individual-contributor position with no people-management responsibilities, largely autonomous and with few internal meetings.

Its main mission is to ensure that the incentives product offered to our client is available, correctly integrated, tested, and aligned with project objectives, with strong attention to operational efficiency, technical execution, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities

Vendor Management

  • Own the incentives/rewards operational line end-to-end (not limited to procurement).
  • Know and maintain the catalog of available providers and rewards per market.
  • Manage operational relationships with incentive platforms (BHN, Tango, Tremendous, GiftPoint, or others).
  • Track rates, discounts, rebates, terms, limits, and international coverage.
  • Monitor SLA compliance and technical support responsiveness from vendors.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vendors, terms, and operational cost by country.

Catalog and Operational Standards

  • Audit and keep the incentive catalog updated by country, currency, type, and restrictions.
  • Evaluate real availability — and the sense and functioning of each reward — in each market before it's presented internally or to the client.
  • Document special conditions, expirations, issuance methods, limitations, and redemption times.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to adapt the catalog to specific needs.

Technological Integrations (functional level, ~30% — no coding)

  • Understand and validate the flows of rewards providers' APIs at a functional level — not to program or build integrations.
  • Read and understand technical documentation, JSON, endpoints, and sandbox/test environments.
  • Execute functional tests for issuance, activation, redemption, order tracking, and error handling.
  • Execute real purchase, redemption, and wallet (Apple/Google) tests when applicable.
  • Mark incentives as “tested” or “not compatible” by country; maintain validation checklists and internal matrices by provider and market.
  • Coordinate validations with the technical lead and internal development team.
  • Flag technical risks related to APIs, tokens, and data handling.

Audit, Control and Operational Quality

  • Monitor issuance errors, catalog failures, rejections, failed transactions, or expirations.
  • Own incident resolution end-to-end; maintain traceability and an incident/escalation log.
  • Support reconciliations, response times, and resolution tracking.
  • Prepare technical documentation, internal guides, and operational policies.

Contractual Support

  • Support (not lead) contract processes, NDAs, and corporate documentation as needed.
  • Flag privacy, data security, and IP considerations for legal review.
  • Note regional tax or legal restrictions when identified.

Internal Analysis and Consultancy

  • Support project and internal teams with cost, margin, availability, and competitiveness comparisons by market.
  • Suggest alternatives when a reward is unavailable or inefficient.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a technological focus, or related fields.

Experience

  • 2–4 years in roles involving API/technical integrations, digital payment methods, loyalty, gift card, or incentive/rewards platforms, vendor management, or operational/QA support.
  • Experience with fintech, prepaid card, or e-commerce incentive platforms is a strong plus.

Technical Knowledge

  • REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON — working familiarity to read, validate and diagnose (not to develop).
  • Comfortable reading technical/API documentation and testing in sandbox environments.
  • Basic SQL for querying and diagnosis.
  • Familiarity with tokenization and personal data handling is a plus.

Professional Competencies

  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, comfortable with repetitive technical validation work.
  • Clear communication (bilingual EN/ES preferred given client-facing documentation).
  • Documentation discipline and audit mindset.
  • Comfortable operating with defined escalation paths.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, with limited supervision and few meetings.
