Core Responsibilities
Project Management: Track legal initiatives across multiple vendor relationships
Communication Hub: Compile internal context and serve as primary legal liaison
Internal Counsel: Handle routine legal inquiries with AI operations context
Contract Administration: Ensure process compliance and agreement accuracy
Request Triage: Route matters to appropriate vendors by jurisdiction/specialty
Document Review: Flag critical provisions and risks in legal documents
Vendor Portal Management: Maintain portals and coordinate cross-functional data needs
Legal Intelligence: Weekly updates on AI/SaaS regulatory changes and misclassification trends
Due Diligence/Research: Conduct legal research dives on competitive landscape developments
Compliance Tracking: Push SOC2 and ISO certification processes forward
Corporate Governance: Track share grants, board consents, and miscellaneous corporate matters
Risk Management: Coordinate IP protections, insurance renewals, and data privacy compliance
Key Requirements
Experience: 2-3 years Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience, preferably tech/AI sector
Skills: Contract review, vendor management, project tracking systems, legal research
Traits: High attention to detail, proactive communication, autonomous execution
Knowledge: Understanding of AI/data operations legal landscape preferred
