With all of the media that exists in the world, it's clear that everyone is a geek about something. To give you an idea of how many geek media fans like me exist, there are over 30 MM tickets sold to anime and comic conventions each year in North America alone. Though, fandom conversation currently doesn't have a home platform, so we are all forced to find the fragmented experiences on other platforms. QuirkChat is a video social networking mobile app for fandom commentary. Our main feature on QuirkChat is called Quips, which are 15 second commentary videos that start threads. Other users can then add their quips to the thread, similar to video reposting. The beta version of our app grew to 30,000 monthly active users and since relaunching our app this month, we've grown to over 5,000 new downloads in just 7 days. While user acquisition is our main focus currently, there are several ways to monetize QuirkChat. We've had early success with e-commerce through our brand The Quirk Shop and plan to also add value to our community by allowing content creators to create communities called Squads and monetize through tipping and subscriptions. With a team experienced in both product and content marketing and advisors from Twitch and Facebook, we are perfectly positioned to lead this new generation of social media and change the way that we talk geek.Something looks off?
