We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to help us scale the leading GPU data platform.

What You'll Do

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of backend, data, and platform engineers
  • Stay hands-on: review architecture, write code, unblock hard technical problems, and set technical direction
  • Run 1:1s, performance reviews, and hiring for your team
  • Raise the bar on code quality, testing, and CI/CD practices across the team
  • Improve engineering processes: on-call rotation, incident response, and code review standards

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including shipping customer-facing web applications
  • 2+ years directly managing engineers
  • Expertise in Python backend frameworks (FastAPI or similar), including async/await patterns and relational databases
  • Solid understanding of SQL, ORMs, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and safe, frequent deployment practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in a remote-first environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing remote teams
  • Interest or experience in high-performance computing and GPU infrastructure
  • Experience deploying and scaling apps on AWS or other cloud platforms
  • Prior experience at an early- or growth-stage startup
