Customer Experience (CX) Specialist – Contractor

Role & Responsibilities

As a CX Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for TYB’s customers and brand partners, ensuring a seamless support experience. Your key responsibilities include:
Support Inbound Requests – Manage and respond to customer and brand inquiries via Intercom, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
Triage & Prioritize Requests – Evaluate incoming tickets, categorize issues, and escalate critical matters appropriately.
Bug Ticket Creation – Identify and document platform bugs, creating detailed tickets for the product and engineering teams.
Product & Brand Support – Assist brands with product-related questions to help them engage their communities on TYB.
Light Inquiry Routing – Direct brand inquiries that require deeper support to the Customer Success (CS) team as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Strong Communication Skills – Ability to provide clear, empathetic, and solution-oriented responses.
Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented – Comfortable troubleshooting consumer tech platforms and documenting issues effectively.
Problem-Solving Mindset – Proactively troubleshoot issues and identify trends in user feedback. Be product-led!
Startup or SaaS Experience (Bonus!) – Familiarity with direct-to-consumer brands or loyalty platforms is a plus.
Experience in Customer Support or CX – 1-2 years in a customer-facing role (Intercom experience is a plus).

Compensation

This is a contract position with an expected commitment of 15 hours per week. Compensation is $1,200 per month, paid on a bi-weekly basis.
As a contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative brands in a fast-growing community-driven platform.
